We have been waiting, some for millenia, for us, as humanity, to reach this New Age. Well folks, we’re here. We are in it, and while it means lots of tossing and turning for many, it is indeed wonderful as we learn as humans how to feel at home in it. It is new, for sure.
One thing that Spirit has been clear about bringing forward is the fact that in this new space we have moved from a place of ME to WE. It came out most clearly in a recent session with my Sacred Souls group when Spirit showed up like this:
The guides were talking about some mindset shifts and bringing us all on board with some old things that we as a humanity have outgrown in this new vibration as Spirit stepped in with a beautiful analogy.
I held up a pen, and explained, “this is each of us. This is how our ego mind sees us. An individual, an island. One person, all alone to conquer the world. We don’t like asking for help, we see ourselves as having to survive life by our singular selves as no one will be there to rescue or save us.”
I only had one pen but fortunately another person on zoom read exactly where this was going and held up a handful of pens.
“This is the new Age. It is an us, and a we. We have moved from an energy of individuality to an energy of interconnectedness. We are all part of each other. Nothing is oppositional, and nothing is separate. As humanity, we are being asked in this time to catch up to this energetic shift.”
This perspective of isolation is not unique to only a few people. It is a global epidemic of sorts. We, especially in this country, are very invested in our individuality. We cheer on people, not teams. We identify the favorites and get behind them while leaving the collective effort in the dust. Quarterbacks and receivers win Super Bowls, CEO’s and Billionaires get all the credit, we send new moms home alone to figure it out without community and often even without family coming to stay to help them heal and acclimate. We say we want to save the planet but we still all live in our individual homes, driving our own individual cars to and from work, we segregate by inviting one minority to join a group so we can meet our inclusion numbers instead of balancing those numbers with people with various backgrounds and welcome in the gifts that “different” brings us, and the list goes on and on. I digress.
As Spirit showed us, we are a collective. What I think and feel and do affects everyone around me, and that is true for everyone. None of us live outside of affecting others. In the quantum realm even if you truly lived alone on an island, your thoughts and feelings and behaviors still have a global impact. The time of “just me” is over. It simply doesn’t work that way. Realistically it never has… we just weren’t ready as a humanity to accept that.
Now however, we’re here. We’re ready. The evolution that the collective WE is ushering in is just that. WE, not me. ME is present from a standpoint of awareness and presence to the version of ourselves we are acting as. Through that, we move into a great “WE” consciousness bringing our greatest Light to the whole.
This is our time, and that still means it is your time.
It’s about WE.
Forever the journey, Anne
