I walked into her adorable boutique, gave a quick hug and kiss of greeting and as she turned around something clinked against the floor. We both stopped and looked down to see the tales side of dime staring up at us. We looked at each other, eyes twinkling and burst into laughter. Once again, her dad made his presence known, this time to both of us while we were together.
My friend’s dad leaves me tales-up dimes. For quite some time I would text her pictures every time I found one in some unexpected place; on top of my washing machine, in the center of the bed in my hotel room, on the ground strategically right outside of my car door, on and on and on. He tends to leave them for me when I am in places in life where I might be feeling low or questioning myself. He comes through as a reminder for me to not take myself so seriously, and recognize in his “tales up time” philosophy, that I just need to calm my shit down.
Today, we simply took it as a sign of celebration in the excitement of my friend opening her new boutique.
That afternoon I was working with a young client of mine from the East Coast. Her childhood dog came through (the dog is still alive, but lives with her Mom in another state) and told her that she (the dog) was missing her and when was she coming home to see her. As we talked about my client’s love for her childhood pet she turned the page in her journal and with astonishment said, “Oh my gosh! There is dog hair in my journal!”
These things remind me of something so powerful; the fact that we are surrounded by Spirit constantly. We are being communicated with from passed on loved ones, our guides, our guardian Angels, the quantum field, all of the beautiful components of life beyond the veil that love us, supports us, and surrounds us.
I love these reminders!
So for today, remember that you are gracefully surrounded by a Light that loves you unconditionally. Whether it has a specific name of a loved one passed, or it is simply the vibration of the Source of all that is coming through to deliver you a sign, remember that you are loved, you are held, and sometimes we all just need to be reminded to not take ourselves so seriously.
Forever the journey, Anne
