Ringing in a brand new year;
Well, that went fast.
2025 that is. While this year had some fun strides (I started a podcast, and took a two week road trip) we also had some huge hits in the loss of some close friends and relatives.
At this point, I am focused on getting myself on track for the new year.
Things like, getting back to that podcast… and more importantly learning to be comfortable in my own body and my own skin. I have struggled with anxiety my entire adult life, sadly, I didn’t know it until I was in my late 30’s, and have been reminded it’s a real thing, again in 2025. That’s a lot of time/energy/focus wasted. While I understand that this may be a life long partner for me, how I embody it needs to shift a bit.
That idea fits perfectly with 2026 as it is a year of details:
Spirit has been speaking it this way for months now, this is a year of taking everything we learned, grew through, got our asses kicked by, reached new heights with, etc and walking that onto the planet in a way that says, “Hey, its ok if you don’t like it, and I’m going to just be over here being me. Have whatever kind of day you want.”
Yes, this is a year to be unapologetically WHO and WHAT your Divine inner connection is asking you to be. Now, let me be clear. This is NOT about shoving your personal agenda at everyone else around you insisting that they think, believe, say, pray, wear, feel everything that you do because you’re “right” and they need to get on board… nope. It is NOT that at all. In fact, it is so opposite of that, that people who mindset that way may very well find themselves extremely uncomfortable in 2026 as Spirit is raising us to our DIVINE self, which means the ego/habit mind will be asked to let go including thinking differently, feeling differently, considering things that we have not considered before. While this is a new year steeped in details, specifics, plans and strategies, we WILL be asked to open to all options and possibilities and utilize that higher awareness to develop our goals, dreams and visions forward.
In the quantum realm, all things are already living in potential and possibility and in order to really LIVE in this energy, we have to open up. We have to be willing to consider ways of accomplishing that are different from the ways we have been taught and seemed fixed as “just the way it is.” No… it’s not. You just think it is, and that is WHY it is.
That energy is dead. And may I say, “auf wiedersehen” (there is my German heritage) and as my Dad says ‘don’t let the door hitcha where the good Lord splitcha”. You get it. It’s out here!
This year is about opening to new possibilities and considering as much as we know, there is way more that we don’t. It is in that space of what we don’t know that the greatness of our true Divine self lives. Beyond our ego/habit mind. It’s so fun… and also terrifying sometimes.
I have to share this story; right now I am sitting in my living room, listening to Holiday music and as I am writing this Vince Geraldi tune from Linus and Lucy (think Charlie Brown’s Christmas) is on my music app. It only strikes me because my most Spirit sent uncle, Dick, used to play this song on the piano. He learned it by ear as this man didn’t learn to read music until he was later in life… and it totally messed up his playing. What he “knew” how to do in his body suddenly had to follow his mind and follow rules, and search to answer questions inside about notes and tempo, which he had always just done. Ripe lesson!!! For me it’s like him coming through (he passed a couple of years ago) and he is telling me to remind all of you that this year is about following what you know in your Spirit and leave the rules that are supposed to help us know how to do things “right” out of what we know we love. Do that. Love what you do, love who you are and love yourself from your natural state. If it feels bad, it isn’t good for you.
I’m not saying don’t do hard things. Do hard things, but do the hard things that you know within the depth of your Soul are the right things for you. Spirit never asks us to judge, or be afraid, or power over, or mistake one emotion for another because we have been taught to avoid certain feelings. That’s old energy my friends.
So, my dear colleagues and partners on this big giant semi sphere, let’s go do this. Let’s lay the plan, do the paperwork to put things in place, develop new strategies that serve everyone, and as our year goes on, notice the absolute freedom to create that comes as part of being willing to open up to things you have not thought to consider before. You are laying the foundations in the early years to set your great self on top of as this year moves along.
Be real, be true to your deep self, and make a way for “yes, and” as we embody this great new energy of 2026.
