A time of returning
I was sitting in my office thinking that if one more glitchy thing happened to my computer while getting ready for my next zoom meeting, I would lose my crap.
Mercury retrograde.
I’ve been hearing things from others as well; a client’s phone erased their calendar. A friend’s computer crashed, like big time. Power outages. Lots of things that are so typical for a mercury retrograde.
What strikes me more so is the repetitive conversations with clients about family of origin struggles: sibling dynamics, parent dynamics, noticing old patterns in their current relationships. All the stuff that screams to us that great things are changing! Hurray!
I like to make it sound fun because it can suck so bad to work through it. lol.
This is our season to dig into our inner world. While this retrograde is about our connection to higher Spirit (intuition, our divine essence, deep knowings) we have to find all of that beauty by digging through the false stories that blocked it in the first place.
In this time we are being asked to return to our deepest truths. This is where we get really uncomfortable with the versions of ourselves we put on for the world each day, because our Soul is showing us where we are pretending. Here’s the rub; you’re not pretending because you want to, you’re pretending because you were taught to. You figured out as a child who and how you needed to be to get your basic needs met. Year by year, lesson and reinforcement by lesson and reinforcement, you learned the rules.
And then there is NOW. My Dear, we are in a year where your Spirit is simply not going to tolerate what is not YOU. Spirit has made it clear recently that as our awareness expands, we will recognize more ah-ha moments of our deeper truth, and that in those moments of shift, we will choose. Forward or back to the old. What your spirit knows is NOT your truth will be dismantled…like it or not.
That is what this retrograde (here until early April) is for. Slowing everything down so that you can absolutely not miss the signals. It’s lovely, really. Not comfortable, but truly lovely. Please know you are doing the work of generations. You are returning karmic family wrongs into rights. You are in “higher and more true alignment and so can see clearly the shadows” says Spirit. This isn’t about blame, but be clear, accurate in how you tell the stories, even within yourself.
This time is designed for you to return to the sacred self that you entered this world as. That bright, curious, talented Soul that took form in the first place.
Be soft, go slow, and let yourself notice the spaces of ah-ha, these sudden undeniable truths as they present themselves. Be willing to go with the shift that is asking you to recognize yourself within it. Be clear you are releasing generational patterns because YOU my friend, are here to do this stuff. You are enough for it, you came here in this time to step forward doing big work, tucked nicely within your own personal journey.
This is your time of returning.
